Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) is a network of Singapore and overseas partners in major innovation hubs and key demand markets, with a focus on technology and innovation. It is a joint initiative between the Ministry of Education, Singapore Economic Development Board, and Enterprise Singapore.
We have partnered in-market players across our GIA cities to run inbound and outbound GIA Acceleration Programmes, connecting companies to overseas business and tech communities. Our GIA Acceleration Programmes will support (i) Singapore startups and SMEs in venturing abroad; and (ii) international startups in scaling up in Asia through Singapore.
The GIA network currently spans 16 cities in 12 countries – China (Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Suzhou), France (Paris), Germany (Berlin and Munich), India (Bangalore), Indonesia (Jakarta), Japan (Tokyo), Philippines (Manila), Russia (Moscow), Thailand (Bangkok), Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City), the UK (London) and the US (San Francisco).
